We know there are several steps to this pre-shopping event and I apologize if it feels a little complicated. There is quite a bit of execution that has to happen behind the scenes to make sure those who subscribed first get their orders placed first and that non-subscribers do not have access to your pre-shopping event. I appreciate your patience and understanding with this process. It is very important to me you get the opportunity to shop before everyone else as a sign of my appreciation for subscribing to the KUIU blog and newsletter. As most of you are aware, as a thank you for your loyalty and support in KUIU we are offering an early shopping opportunity for blog & newsletter subscribers before we open to the public. The date you subscribed will be “your place in line” for the pre-shopping event. Those who subscribed last March will have the opportunity to shop first. We will continue to process orders by subscription date until all the orders are complete or we are out of product.
From Thursday, March 17th until noon PST, Monday, March 21st an early version of our shopping site will be ready for your previewing and pre-registration of a kuiu.com account. You must pre-register if you are going to pre-shop. Registration allows us to grant you access to the shopping event. We will email you a reminder and the link to register on the 17th.
In order to manage access to the live shopping site, on March 21st we will send an email to all registered shoppers with a shopping day between March 23rd and March 27th based on your subscription date. During this period, if it is not your day to shop, the products will not be visible to you on the shopping site. If you have a conflict with your shopping day and need to shop on another day please email customer service (email@example.com) we will make special arrangements. Note that we will also be limiting the quantities of each product you can order during pre-shop to give everyone a fair opportunity to get the products they need.
Orders placed during pre-shop are expected to ship by April 15th (with the exception of the Icon Backpacks & Guide Gloves), and you will not be billed until the order is shipped (however, you may see a pre-authorization on your account when you first submit the order). Once you receive your order, if you have an exchange or sizing issue, please contact our customer service center right away at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be holding back a small portion of the inventory to help with exchanges. If you will be exchanging for a new size PLEASE contact customer service right away so we may set aside the the product.
We are very excited about the pre-shop event, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure all of our loyal subscribers get their chance to shop. If we need to make changes to the dates or the event as we outlined it above, we will post the changes as soon as possible to keep you informed.
